A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer

Uppers was brilliant and so is My Other People in it's different, yet distinctly TV Priest mode. It is to me a lament on a society in inevitable decline, a reckoning over what has been lost and what may yet be saved. And there's always one or two tunes that go straight to my soul and connect to my pain, desperation, hope and anger. It was beautiful... grUEnfront

I have been following this guy's albums for several years. He's a bit of a chameleon, but well-worth the effort! For fans of 70's folk-rock, but also psychedelic rock. Gratefulshrink
